Although he has a lot of chaotic energy about him (like a manic trickster), and I do like that part of him, that's not the part I find the most relatable. I see him as a damaged child (a very special archetype for me), full of anger and pain, but also very self-aware, very capable of identifying his own emotions and analyzing his own actions, which is very rare.
In his later years there was a maturity in him (the wise man archetype), a desire to do better, to be a better person, that I find admirable.
I see myself in his resentment, pain and violence, but also in his need to be brutally honest (with himself and others), and his need for growth and change.
